Anyway hi. We\'re back. We\'re not dead.(Proof, this time!) And we\'re back with the subs for the 4 years awaited MAIKAZE Touhou OVA! Episode 2 only took four years for them to make! I\'ll be out of undergraduate school by the time episode 3 comes out! \ o /
Anyway, this release was a hell of a mess. I didn\'t realize this thing came out until I woke up, after which I proceeded to sit down, grab chips, and type away as I TLed this thing at furious speeds.(Contrary to popular belief, I CAN translate quickly when I feel like it. Remember ano natsu when I TLed a full ep in 50 minutes?)

v1 with 576p is coming shortly. Encodes are done and the weird resolution is because it\'s the max DVD upscale allowed by Nyaa torrents. Though an \"upscale,\" we\'ve done enough encoding magics, with the help of Tormaid from Anxious-He, that we gotten it to the point that the fact that it\'s an upscale isn\'t even noticeable. \ o /
We\'ll make another post for the v1, so check back in a few days or something!

Touhou related question is your Touhou Project - Collection 2011 torrent on nyaa patched with eng translation (or have it included to be patched) or all original japanese. thanks
Grey, I doubt it. They are a doujin group, after all. BDs cost a lot more to burn/make than regular DVDs.
Zero, I do believe most, if not all, are patched to english. The torrent is simply a re-upload of another person\'s work. You can google the collection and you can find him. I\'m far from playing every single game in the collection (still) but I\'ve yet to encounter a non-english patched game.

What does Nyaa do when someone uploads a DVD release upscaled to say, 720p? Does the torrent get marked as not \"trusted\" or...?

--I don\'t recall who all was involved, but your Nichijou releases back then were amazing. Ahodomo created and released original translations faster than Horrible could steal. And they did it without even the help of Japanese closed captions.
You have the all-time speed records in my reckoning.
As far as I know, TokyoTosho doesn\'t have any upscale policies. How about releasing a 720p over there and let people vote with their feet?
360p sucks cause the original (like all animes) is a DVD quality release. Yet I don\'t know where to find this. Most torrents exist to distribute the maximum quality video, but yours is only 360p. Better luck next time.
By the way, I\'m still looking for it in original quality, which is why I\'m so furious that you guys who looked like a promising site, ONLY HAVE A CRAPPY 360p VIDEO!!!!!!!
